STREETS ESN: Oakland street conditions documentation
STREETS ESN helps Oakland residents, corridor partners, property owners, nonprofits, funders, and cleanup teams document visible non-emergency street conditions, prepare stronger OAK311-ready evidence, identify repeat dumping or blight patterns, and coordinate supplemental Pure Street services.
The platform is an OAK311 companion, not a replacement for OAK311, Public Works, OakGIS, Safe Oakland Streets, emergency services, or any official City of Oakland system.
Core commitments: document conditions, not people; use human review before public display; avoid biometric identification, encampment targeting, public-safety scoring, and person-based prediction; keep methodology explainable; and support cleaner, safer, better-documented Oakland corridors.
Key pages include Report a Condition, Map, Dashboard, Articles, Pure Street Services, Resilience Mode, Pilot Package, Governance, Methodology, and OAK311 Context.
